Why We Built This Site
Public access is only useful when a reader can find the right custodian. The Independence County Circuit Clerk maintains felony, general civil, domestic-relations, juvenile, and other Circuit Court proceedings. The District Court Clerk handles traffic, misdemeanors, small claims, and limited civil cases. Local county material also directs several probate-related requests to the County Clerk. Search ARCourts provides a statewide public index, but certified records still come from the office that maintains the case. We bring those roles, contacts, search fields, and request steps into one county-focused reference.

What We Cannot Do
This privately operated resource has no access to court accounts or nonpublic files. Several tasks must go straight to the appropriate Independence County clerk or trial court.
- We cannot retrieve or certify a docket sheet or case document.
- We cannot set, continue, cancel, or confirm a hearing.
- We cannot alter, seal, clear, or remove a court entry.
- We cannot accept fines, filing fees, or record-copy payments.
- We cannot give legal advice about a charge, deadline, or order.
- We cannot promise that a fee, official, or schedule has not changed.
An official or certified record must come from the Circuit Clerk, District Court Clerk, County Clerk, or other court office that maintains the original file.
